Michael Whiticker and Victor Purkiss, along with Brian Kneipp, wrote 12 songs for an album "Songs of a city, Townsville 2003". It was funded by the Regional Arts Development Fund, Arts Queensland and Townsville Council, to celebrate 100 years of Townsville as city.
